How to become a MARTEC partner

In order to strengthen maritime research it is a declared aim of the MARTEC ERA-NET to incorporate new partners from related European organisations.

Eligible partners for MARTEC actions are:

Public bodies responsible for financing or managing research activities carried out at national or regional level
Other national or regional bodies that finance or manage such research activities
Bodies operating at European level whose mission includes the pan-European coordination of nationally-funded research activities

Maritime programme areas are:

Shipbuilding
Maritime equipment and services
Ship and port operation
Inland water and intermodal transport
Offshore industry/technology
Offshore structures for renewable energy
Fishing/aquaculture
Polar technology
Human elements
Safety and security
Environmental impact
